Quarterly unemployment tip

Within the Payroll application, you can create a electronic file of quarterly unemployment information for state reporting. Before you generate the file for unemployment magnetic media, you must set up unemployment deductions for all employees. If you are a non-profit organization whose unemployment is self-funding, you still must have unemployment deductions. After each Payroll cycle, you must use journal entries to correct your General Ledger.
