Define Tax Authority-Specific Parameters (PR27.2)

Use this procedure to define tax authority-specific information. For example, select the Maryland Tax Authority and MD Topic to report the required information for the EFW2 Code RE record for Maryland. Use Topic WL with a local Tax Authority to report identified EFW2 Code RS record fields for PR299 local reporting based on the Social Security Administration’s Specifications for Filing Forms W-2 Electronically. The Tax Authority specified should have a corresponding local withholding deduction.
