Options for verifying employee Social Security numbers

These options are available for verifying employee Social Security numbers:

• Verify that the number is a valid Social Security number in W-2 Form Printing (PR297).

  PR297 provides an error report that lists invalid Social Security numbers. PR297 does not verify that the Social Security numbers are correct for the employee; rather, it validates that the first three digits of the Social Security Number are valid.

• Validate address and postal code information for employees using Employee Listing (HR211) to generate a report of employees.
