Resetting of employee deduction year-to-date totals

The Payroll application resets the year-to-date totals to zero when the system date reaches January first of the new year. Year-to-date totals are not affected when you run Payroll Year End Close (PR999). For example, if an employee has $500 year-to-date for a deduction and you run PR999 on December 27, the system still lists the deduction YTD total as $500 until the system date reaches January 1 of the next year.

You can view year-to-date totals using the Drill Around feature.
