Accessing ACA Employee Data

Use ACA Employee Data (BN29.2) to inquire on the ACA Benefit Offers, Benefit Enrollments and Dependents who are covered in a self-insured ACA benefit plan. This is the data that is used for the specified ACA regulatory reporting year. ACA Offer and Enrollment information is only available if ACA Parameters are set up for the benefit plan before enrolling into benefits and before using ACA Offers Upload (BN529).

  1. Access ACA Employee Data (BN29.2).
  2. Inquire on the ACA Benefit Offers, Benefit Enrollments and Dependents who are covered in a self insured ACA Benefit plan.
  3. The Offers tab shows the highest priority offer by offer date. If an employee is offered benefits two times in a year, the result shown is two highest priority offer records. One for each offer date. The offer code and the employee cost that is associated to the offer record can be viewed for each offer record.
  4. The Enrollments tab shows ACA benefit enrollments in the regulatory year with start and stop dates of the enrollment. Benefit enrollments are defined as benefit coverage or waive enrollment into an ACA designated benefit plan. If an employee has two enrollments in the year, both are displayed. A Self-Insured benefit plan and Waive Enrollment are denoted as Yes.
  5. Click the Dependents button to access the Dependents form. Dependents are captured for self-insured dependent benefit coverage enrollments.

The Dependents form (BN29.3) shows all dependents who are enrolled in a self-insured benefit coverage with start and stop dates of the enrollment. An asterisk in the SSN and DOB fields denotes whether a Social Security Number or Date of Birth are stored in the system for the dependent. One of the two are required for ACA Regulatory Reporting.
