Steps for ACA Year-End reporting solutions

Use these steps for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Year End reporting solution:

  1. Report Entity Structure: Does the Payroll Report Entity (PR09) structure represent how your organization will do ACA Reporting? If a different structure is required, you must create a benefit-specific reporting structure for ACA Year End Processing.

  2. Aggregated ALE Group Reporting: Does your organization need to report for an Aggregated ALE Group?

  3. Run one of these Options for ACA IRS Codes Processing (BN990):
  4. Employee’s ACA IRS Codes records (BN99).
  5. COBRA and Retiree Processing (BN991), optional.
  6. Create ACA Resources for individuals not stored in HRM, optional.
    1. Use Conversion program (BN597).
    2. View/Edit an ACA Resource (BN95.1).
  7. Year-End Parameters (BN27).
    1. Use ACA Year-End Employer (BN27.1) and Employee (BN27.2).
    2. View the ACA Year-End Parameters (BN227).
  8. Set up your ACA Regulatory Reporting (BN297).
  9. Create the ACA XML file using ACA File Creation (BN299).
