Processing COBRA or Retiree for affordable year-end reporting

Use the COBRA Benefit Entry (BN71) to assign a Process Level for designated benefit coverage entry. By assigning process levels to COBRA Benefit Entry, COBRA Participants can be reported for a specified Process Level during ACA Regulatory Reporting, otherwise they are reported at a company level.

  1. Run ACA COBRA/Retirees IRS Codes Processing (BN991).
  2. Select a Company, Type, Year, 1095 Form, Update Option.
  3. View COBRA/Retiree IRS Codes (BN99.3).
  4. Select Company, Year, Type, Employee or Participant, Report Entity.
  5. Setup up your ACA Regulatory Reporting (BN297).
  6. Create the ACA XML file using ACA XML File Creation (BN299). When submitting to the IRS, create the file with other employees who are in the same Report Entity.
