Processing COBRA or Retiree for affordable year-end reporting
Use the COBRA Benefit Entry (BN71) to assign a Process Level for designated benefit coverage entry. By assigning process levels to COBRA Benefit Entry, COBRA Participants can be reported for a specified Process Level during ACA Regulatory Reporting, otherwise they are reported at a company level.
- Run ACA COBRA/Retirees IRS Codes Processing (BN991).
- Select a Company, Type, Year, 1095 Form, Update Option.
- View COBRA/Retiree IRS Codes (BN99.3).
- Select Company, Year, Type, Employee or Participant, Report Entity.
- Setup up your ACA Regulatory Reporting (BN297).
- Create the ACA XML file using ACA XML File Creation (BN299). When submitting to the IRS, create the file with other employees who are in the same Report Entity.
