Delete for Reschedulling (WO21.1)

Use Delete for Rescheduling (WO21.1) to delete a work order and allow the document demand for the finished good to be rescheduled. The program displays all documents that drove the scheduling and creation of a work order.

Note: You can also delete work orders from Work Order (WO30.1). Deleting a work order from WO30 leaves the demand marked as scheduled. It is not picked up by subsequent runs of Production Schedule (WO20.1) or Batch Work Order Creation (WO120).

When rescheduling production it is possible that more than one work order is tied to a source document. If this is the case, all other unallocated work orders should be deleted before rescheduling. Click the Multiple button that appears next to the document line to transfer to Source Document Inquiry (WO83.1) to view all work orders generated from the demand of a document.

After deleting work orders with WO21, run Production Schedule (WO20.1) or Batch Work Order Creation (WO120) to create new work orders. Consider re-running Finished Good Replenishment (IC143) in order to recreate any forecast demand that may need to be rescheduled.

Note: If a work order suffix is entered the program will display the same documents and quantities as the parent work order. The system does not differentiate between document demand sources for suffixed work orders and their parents. Click the Multiple button to find other parent work orders that may also affect rescheduling.
