Looking up geocodes manually on TX40

Use Tax Inquiry for Vertex (TX40.1) to look up Vertex GeoCodes and inquire about the corresponding sales tax rates. If the sale and delivery took place in the same state, then the District City, County, State, and Total tax rates displayed in the Rates subform will reflect the state's sales tax. Actual sales transactions can result to a different rate if the sale and delivery took place in different states.
