Setting up the Vertex O Connector

This procedure describes how to set up the Vertex O Version 9 Connector using the Tax Company (TX00.1) application.

  1. Access Tax Company (TX00.1) and ensure that the tax system flag is set to Vertex 9 Cloud.
  2. To do this, look for Tax System and select V (Vertex 9 Cloud).
  3. Look for Use Tax Code Accounts and select one of these options:
    • If you select Yes, then you need to set up a tax code on TX01 and TX02 for every geocode. The distributions will then go to the accounts on the tax code.
    • If you select No, then the tax distributions will go to the tax company accounts. There is no requirement to set up individual tax codes for each geocode. This is the recommended setup.
