Strategic Ledger Delete (SL350)

Run Strategic Ledger Delete (SL350) to delete a ledger that is no longer a useful analysis tool. Strategic Ledger Delete removes all the records for a particular ledger from the following files:

For UNIX/Windows platforms:

  • SLLEDGER - The Ledger that is to be deleted
  • SLAMOUNTS - The balances for the ledger
  • SLACCOUNT - The unique accounts posted to the ledger
  • SLSLVALUE - The select values, used in SL95, for the ledger
  • SLDRILL - The records used for drill from the ledger to the Transaction file
  • SLSLSEL - The ledger select options defined in SL50
Caution: 
This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this program, back up your data according to your organization's procedures. Before you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.

For IBM i platform:

  • DBSLSLL - The Ledger that is to be deleted
  • DBSLSAM - The balances for the ledger
  • DBSLSLA - The unique accounts posted to the ledger
  • DBSLSLV - The select values, used in SL95, for the ledger
  • DBSLSLX - The records used for drill from the ledger to the Transaction file
  • DBSLSLS - The ledger select options defined in SL50
