PR287 - U.S. Form 941 changes for 2021
The U.S. Federal quarterly form 941 is changing to include multiple new and revised lines to incorporate provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act. Changes to the form enables the employers to report the refundable and nonrefundable portions of employment tax credits. These tax credits are for qualified paid-sick or paid-family leave wages that are paid starting April 1, 2021 and are attributable to leaves taken up to March 31, 2021. New lines also take the new COBRA premium assistance credit into account.
