Canada Garnishment Types (PR46.1)

Use Canada Garnishment Types (PR46.1) to define or change any Canadian garnishment types not provided by Lawson and link them to garnishment categories.

After you use this form add garnishment types, you can select the new types in the Type field in:

  • Canadian Garnishment Rules (PR46.2)
  • Canadian Employee Garnishment Set Up (PR47.1)
  • Canadian Garnishment Rules Listing (PR246)

You cannot change the type or category of an existing garnishment type, but you can change the description. You cannot delete a type if it is used in the Payroll system (exists in PRGARNRULE (UNIX/Windows) or DBPRPGR (IBM i)). You cannot have duplicate garnishment types.
