    or

    Change employee addresses on HR11.1

    or

Change employee work location on HR11.1

    or

Add time records with locations different than the HR11.1 location

  2. Use U.S. Tax Deduction Errors (PR13.8) to correct view and update Tax Locator errors.

  3. View or maintain deductions created by Tax Locator on this form.

Processing Effect

When you have no legal requirement to withhold a tax, but Tax Locator creates finds the deduction for an employee, you need to create a "dummy" deduction on Deduction (PR05). Allow Tax Locator to attach the dummy deduction to the employee and then disable the deduction. If you do not do this, you will continue to receive the Tax Locator message about the deduction not set up for the tax authority whenever that tax jurisdiction is returned for that employee.

If you override the location on a time record, it changes the tax deductions assigned to the employee which can then be viewed on PR13.7.

BSI Tax locator is a feature of BSI third-party software, which creates tax deduction automatically for U.S. employees.
