Competencies (PA21.1)

Use Competencies (PA21.1) to track information about an employee's competencies.

Processing Effect

The Personnel Administration system uses competency information to determine whether an employee is qualified to perform a job.

When applicants are employed by using Hire an Appliant (PA52.4), their competency information from Applicant Competencies (PA35.1) automatically updates to this screen.

If competencies are required for group membership as defined in Employee Group Definition (HR55.1), the employee will be added to the group when the final required competency is updated.
