Ledger Group (ML11.1)
Use Ledger Group (ML11.1) to define and maintain a ledger group. A ledger group consists of one or more ledgers. You use the ledger group to assign ledgers to detail or posting accounts.
Process at a Glance

Define a ledger that includes all the General Ledger companies you want linked to the ledger, using Ledger Setup (ML10.1).

(This step) Associate the ledger with one or more ledger groups, using Ledger Group (ML11.1).

Define a ledger calendar for each company in your ledger, using Ledger Calendar Map (ML12.1).

Assign the ledger group including the ledger to any detail or posting accounts for which you want to maintain parallel ledger entries.
Note: Steps 2 and 3 can be done in any order, but after Step 1 and before Step 4.
