Specifying the location of your Vertex Quantum debug file

If you are using Vertex Quantum's debug option, you must specify a directory location for the DEBUGFILE. This is the file that all debugging information is written to. This procedure gives instructions for specifying your DEBUGFILE location.

Specify your DEBUGFILE location

  1. Using the editor of your choice (such as LX), access the vertex.cfg configuration file.
  2. Move your cursor to the DEBUGFILE parameter.
  3. Specify the directory location and the filename you want your debugging information written to in the DEBUGFILE value field.
  4. Press OK to save the DEBUGFILE parameter value.
