Inquiring on tax transactions

You can use Tax Transaction (TX04.1) to receive this information on tax transactions:

  • Vendor or customer numbers

  • Invoice numbers and amounts

  • Taxable amounts of transactions and tax amounts

  • Origin of transactions

  • Updated general ledger accounts

You cannot change information on application-generated transactions using TX04.1.

This procedure gives instructions for inquiring on tax transactions.

Inquire on tax transactions

  1. Access Tax Transaction (TX04.1).
  2. Inquire on a specific tax transaction.
  3. Select one of these tabs for more information.
    Select this tab To inquire on
    Invoice Information Invoice numbers and amounts, tax amounts, and tax point dates
    System Information Which Lawson application the transaction originated from and the process level assigned
    Posting Information

    General ledger accounts and posting dates

    Note: The tax period and tax year are populated after you run the Value Added Tax Return Report (TX120).
  4. Select the Inquire form action.
