Purging historical tax transactions

You can purge tax transactions that have been completely processed by running Tax History Purge (TX300). After Tax Analysis Report (TX100) has been run in Update mode to update the status of current transactions, transaction records are no longer necessary.

TX300 has two special features: an edit option and a cutoff date. The edit option on TX300 lets you print a list of tax transactions that would be deleted without deleting them. The cutoff date lets you purge tax transactions up to a defined posting date. These procedures give instructions for using both options, and for purging the transactions.
