Transaction Writer report

A Transaction Writer report enables you to define transaction reports with two 132-character lines of information for each transaction. You can define the report options using Transaction Writer (SL91.1) and run the report using Transaction Report (SL291). Once the report is defined, you can change the report parameters at any time.

The options that you define for a report determine these data:

  • Which transactions are selected for the report

  • Which transaction and attribute fields print

  • How selected transactions are sorted and totaled

Or group logic

You can group attribute information by creating an AND/OR condition. The AND condition groups attributes, while the OR condition separates AND groups information for multiple attributes.

You can use the same character to group attributes with an AND condition and a different character to group OR conditions.
