Separating Strategic Ledger processing

You can separate processing Strategic Ledger transactions from processing transactions in the application where you included the user analysis values. Separating processing improves daily processing performance.

When you transfer transactions to Strategic Ledger (for example, release a General Ledger journal entry), they are stored in an intermediate data file. You can then load suspended transactions at any time.

Follow these steps to separate Strategic Ledger processing:

  1. Access System Codes (GL01.4).
  2. Select Yes (Y) in the SL Suspend Process field, on the application line that you will suspend Strategic Ledger processing from.
  3. Run Transaction Interface (SL195) to load suspended Strategic Ledger transactions at any time.
