Printing technical text or data file text using LID

You can print technical text using Lawson Interface Desktop (LID) if you have access to the command line. If you are a Cloud customer, then you must contact the Cloud team.
  1. Log in to a Lawson Interface Desktop command line session.
  2. In the UNIX prompt, specify laenv.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Select User Desktop > Application Text.
  5. Select Print Data File Text or Print Technical Text.
  6. Navigate to the Product Line field.
  7. Specify your Product Line name. For example, PATCH901.
  8. In the System Code field, specify the System Code. For example, BN or PR.
  9. When printing technical text, specify the name of the form. For example, BN72.
  10. Press Enter to print the text.
    The status of the printing text is displayed on the screen.
