Defining a detail group
A detail group is a group of row lines that you can repeat for a range of accounts or levels. Define a detail group to save time when defining a report that has similar lines going down the page with only the account or accounting unit being reported on changing.
- Access Account Rows (RW10.2), Level Rows (RW10.3), or Both Rows (RW10.4).
- Click More for the row to access the Additional Information (RW10.6) subform.
- On the Options tab, in the Detail Group field, specify a numeric or alpha value (1-9 or A-Z) to include the line in the detail group.
- For each of the succeeding row lines that you want to include in the detail group, click More and assign the same number in the Detail Group field.
