Defining a process group

Use a process group to store and organize all report names. You must define at least one process group, but you can create as many as necessary. For example, you might create three process groups to organize your reports by those you run monthly, quarterly, or annually. You can use a process group to generate several reports at one time, such as running all of your monthly reports at once. Use this procedure to define process groups.

  1. Access Process Group (RW02.1).
  2. Define a process group. Use these guidelines to specify the field values:
    Process Group

Specify a name that identifies the process group and a description of the process group.

    Report Authorization

Use this flag to control which process groups can be run in RW100. If Yes is selected, then you cannot run RW100 by this process group. However, you still can run RW100 for a report that uses this process group.

To disallow running RW100 for a report that uses this process group, you need to secure the folder in RW01 by setting the Report Authorization flag to yes and disable the selected users by setting the Run flag in RW03 to No

    Multiple Entry Button

Click Multiple Entry if you want to use Process Groups (RW02.2) to define many process groups at once.
