Creating a usage report

You can create a usage report to list where a format, compute statement, level group, account group, subaccount group, company group, accounting unit list, summary account, or account list is used. You can use this report to verify where components are used before deleting or changing them. This report is an important tool in controlling Report Writer file size and reducing redundancy and unnecessary records.

  1. Run Usage Report (RW298).
  2. Select one or more parameters for which you want to create a usage report.
