Creating manual checks or manual direct deposits
- Access Manual Payment (PR80.4).
- Type or select Company and Employee. Select the Inquire form action.

Specify this information:
Note: Bank Code and Payment Number can be left blank to do a simple calculation of a payment.
- ACH

Display only. ACH displays the HR11 Automatic Deposit value identifying whether or not the employee is flagged for Direct Deposit on HR11. ACH status for the employee will display: Y, P, or N.
- Type

Select either C - Check or R - Receipt. If left blank, upon calculate either C or R will default based on PR12 eligibility.
- Payment Nbr

Type the receipt or check number of the manual payment. Manual payment numbers must be previously reserved on PR81.1. If left blank, upon Calculate;Add the next available number will default in. Select options added to allow the user to select from Reserved Checks, Reserved Receipts, Open Checks, and/or Open Receipts (Receipts from either the Main Account or Direct Deposit Account).
- ACH Override

Optional. To control depositing only to the employee’s default PR12 account. Used for employees with full ACH but distributed to multiple PR12 accounts. Select either Y - All ACH to default account or N - Use Normal ACH Distributions. Defaults to N.

Select Calculate;Add. The Type and Payment Nbr will be defaulted based on PR12 eligibility.
Note: If the Type and Payment Nbr are left blank, then PR80.4 will default the Type based on PR12 set up and default the next available receipt or check number. Both Type and Payment Number can be manually entered if necessary.
