General Ledger posting:

• Posts General Ledger transactions

• Posts Project and Activity Accounting transactions

• Posts Accounts Payable transactions

• Changes PRDISTRB (UNIX/Windows) DBPRPRD (IBMi) record status from Open to Closed (0 to 9)

Posting forces you to correct currency error records in Payroll GI Dist-Currency Err before you can run General Ledger Posting.

If Company and Process Level created distribution records are set to N (No), the General Ledger Posting deletes closed PRDISTRB (UNIX/Windows) DBPRPRD (IBMi) records. Run General Ledger Posting in report mode to verify transactions, or Update mode to complete the posting.
