Type of charges are created with P-Cards
Two types of bank charges are created with P-Cards: ad hoc charges and PO charges.
Ad hoc charges are those for which a purchase order is not required. PO charges are meant for purchases that require a purchase order.
You use either kind of charge to buy the items you need.
During program setup, administrators make two decisions regarding bank charges. They decide whether:
-
all charges are to be approved automatically when P-Card Invoice and Release (PD130) is run
-
the application closes charges once they are approved
