Purging encumbrance information

Note: Purge encumbrance information before purging employee information.
Caution: 
Purging records permanently removes them from the database. You cannot retrieve purged information. We recommend that you back up data, following your organization's MIS procedures, before running any purge programs.

To purge encumbrance information

  1. Access Salary Encumbrance Update (PA182).
  2. On the Main page, consider the following field:
    Update

    Select Report Only to get a report of recalculated encumbrance amounts.

    Select Purge and Calculate to purge existing encumbrance records and calculate new encumbrance records.

    Select Purge Only to purge existing encumbrance records.
