How are assigned resources tracked?

Track assigned resources based on the parameters you defined in the position rules for your organization. Assigned resource counts include head count, FTE for employees and requisitions. Assign a count code to each employee status code and requisition status code to define which employees and requisitions to include in the count.

Employee statuses have a count status of Active, Not Active, or Excluded. Employees with status codes that have a count status of Active or Not Active are included in the counts if the position rules include Active or Not Active. For more information on employee statuses, see the Infor Human Resources User Guide.

Assign a status code to requisitions with a count code of either Active or Excluded. If the position rules include requisitions in the counts, only those with an Active count status will be included.

Example

ABC Company wants to identify employees who are on an extended leave status with a unique employee status code. ABC Company has defined the status code with a "Not Active" count status to separate employees with this status from active employees. Since the organization does want to track the employees on extended leave and include them in their budget analysis, ABC Company has defined their position rules to include not active employees in their resource counts.
