Defining a track
Define your tracks. When the final course is completed and logged via Session Completion (TR22.1), a certificate can be issued.
To define a track
- Access Track (TR05.1).
- In the Track field, type a short description of the track. In the second field, give the track a longer description.

Use the following guidelines to enter field values:

Select Add.
- Begin

Type the date the track begins. This is a required field.
- Certificate

Select the certificate that will be awarded when an employee completes the track. When an employee completes the final course in the track, the certificate updates Certifications (PA22.1) As long as course prerequisites are completed, courses in a track can be completed in any order.
Note: The certificate entered cannot be the same as the certificate earned for any of the courses assigned to this track.If an employee has been assigned to a track on TR13.1, when the track is completed any certificates assigned to the track on TR05 will be updated for the employee on PA22.1. If employees are not assigned to the track on TR13.1, the certificate will not update automatically.

If the certificate is valid for a limited time, type the length of time. Use the next field to indicate the unit in which the time is measured: whether it is days, months, or years.
- Select the Change form function.
