Defining an EEO-4 company's salary ranges

Define your parameters for the EEO-4 Report, which is required for state and local governments.

The EEO-4 report uses an employee's salary, gender, and ethnic background information from Employee (HR11.1). The EEO categories are associated with each job code on Job Code (HR06.1). For more information, see the Infor Human Resources User Guide. For organizations required to submit EEO-4 reports, the EEO-4 or EEO-5 Report field on Company (HR00) must be set to Yes (EEO-4 Report).

To define an EEO-4 company's salary ranges

  1. Access EEO-4 Company (PA93.3).
  2. In the EEO-4 Report, select if you want to run the EEO-4 Report. This is a required field.
Note: A functional group identifies the primary activity an employee performs within a state or local government business.
  3. In the EEO-4 Functional Group, type a description of the functional group. This replaces the default description of "other" for functional group 15 on the report.
  4. If the EEO-4 Report option is Yes, type the ending EEO-4 salary ranges provided by the government.
  5. Select the Add form function.
