Applicants

An applicant is an individual from outside the organization who is applying for a job or position at the organization. You define as little or as much information about an external applicant as you want, depending on your interest in the applicant. When you hire an applicant, the applicant records copy to the corresponding employee records.

An employee, from within the organization, who applies for a job or position should not be defined as an external applicant.
