Performing individual actions
If you are changing a field for which the position data item attribute is set to "Default, No Override", you cannot use personnel actions to update the field. You must make the change on the position and run the position update. Defining position data item attributes Maintaining position codes
Implement actions for an individual employee. The program displays the employee's current values for the data items associated with the action and allows entry for those that should change. For example, update an employee's primary (Level 1) position or job information.
Automatically start and stop required deductions for the employee.
Employees are eligible for required deductions if they meet the criteria defined on Deduction Required Code (PR03.1). For more information, see the Infor Payroll User Guide.
If you use the Infor Benefits Administration application and the action you are adding is a COBRA occurrence, the action creates a COBRA participant record in COBRA Participant (BN70.1). For more information, see the Infor Benefits Administration User Guide.
If you use the Benefits Administration application, you define if the individual action will update employee benefits. If so, employee benefit change records are created. For more information, see the Infor Benefits Administration User Guide.
