Defining grievance and disciplinary actions
Track grievance and disciplinary actions and steps.
To define grievance and disciplinary actions
- Access Grievance, Disciplinary Actions (PA59.1).
 - Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
           
- Type

Select whetherf you want to track a grievance or a disciplinary action.
 - Action
 - 
              
Personnel Administration assigns a number to the action. The numbers start at one (1) for each employee and type. In the second field, type a description of the grievance or disciplinary action. This is a required field.
 
 - In the Main tab, use the following guidelines to enter field values:
           
- Category
 - 
              
Select the action category.
 - Reported
 - 
              
Type the date the action is reported.
 - Reported By
 - 
              
Select the employee who reported the action. In the second field the name displays. If the individual is not an employee, type the name.
 
 - All the fields on the Employee Information tab default from Employee (HR11.1). You can override the information if necessary.
 - Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
           
- Process Level
 - 
              
Select the process level where the grievance or disciplinary action occurred. If you leave this field blank, the process level from Employee (HR11.1) defaults.
 - Department
 - 
              
Select the department where the grievance or disciplinary action occurred. If you leave this field blank, the process level from Employee (HR11.1) defaults.
 
 - Select the Add form function.
