Defining grievance and disciplinary actions

Track grievance and disciplinary actions and steps.

To define grievance and disciplinary actions

  1. Access Grievance, Disciplinary Actions (PA59.1).
  2. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Type

    Select whetherf you want to track a grievance or a disciplinary action.

    Action

    Personnel Administration assigns a number to the action. The numbers start at one (1) for each employee and type. In the second field, type a description of the grievance or disciplinary action. This is a required field.

  3. In the Main tab, use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Category

    Select the action category.

    Reported

    Type the date the action is reported.

    Reported By

    Select the employee who reported the action. In the second field the name displays. If the individual is not an employee, type the name.

  4. All the fields on the Employee Information tab default from Employee (HR11.1). You can override the information if necessary.
  5. Use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Process Level

    Select the process level where the grievance or disciplinary action occurred. If you leave this field blank, the process level from Employee (HR11.1) defaults.

    Department

    Select the department where the grievance or disciplinary action occurred. If you leave this field blank, the process level from Employee (HR11.1) defaults.

  6. Select the Add form function.
