Defining a session

Sessions are the actual times, dates, and locations that a course is offered. Create multiple sessions for each course if needed.

To define a session

  1. Access Session (TR04.1).
  2. In the Course field, select the course.
  3. In the session field, type the session number.
  4. In the Session Information section, use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    End Date

    Type the end date of the session.

    Status

    Select the session's status. If you leave this field blank, Open defaults. If the class fills, the application changes the status to Filled or Filled-Active Wait List.

    Type

    Select the type of training the session provides.

  5. In the Registration Information section, use the following guidelines to enter field values:
    Enrollment Minimum

    Type the minimum number of session participants. This field is for reference only.

    Enrollment Maximum

    Type the maximum number of session participants. When the maximum number of participants enroll into a session, the application changes the status to Full. If you use the wait list option, employees are placed on the wait list after the maximum number of employees register.

  6. Select the Add form function.
