Defining course certifications and competencies
Note: If you use the Career Management task in Infor
Employee and Manager Self-Service, course certifications and competencies
are used to identify training options for employees with specific
qualification gaps.
Define certifications, competencies, and proficiency levels acquired when a course is completed. Also, indicate whether a renewal is necessary for the certification or competency.
After the employee successfully completes a course, the application updates Competencies (PA21.1) or Certification (PA22.1) with the competencies or certifications listed.
