Personnel Administration process flow
You use the Personnel Administration application to support the following areas of your business process.
Position Management Structure
To set up your position management structure, you define the position rules, a variety of human resource codes, and budget head count and full time equivalent (FTE). The setup decisions you make in these areas impact the way you will continue to use the Personnel Administration application.
Staffing
To manage your organization's staffing needs, you define position or job requirements, create requisitions, track applicants, and fill positions. You track the number of assigned resources and the assigned positions of those resources.
Employee Maintenance
You use Personnel Administration to maintain several types of employee information, including performance reviews and employee history. Within Personnel Administration, you use personnel actions to change, update, and manage information for employees.
Additional Personnel Processes
You use Personnel Administration to perform a variety of analysis, reporting and tracking processes. These processes include wage analysis, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Employment Equity Act (EEA) reporting, correspondence tracking, and contract tracking. You also use Personnel Administration to administer health and safety information for your organization.
