Setting up Multi-Book Ledger

This chapter describes how to set up your Lawson Multi-Book Ledger environment, including a ledger, ledger group, and ledger calendar, and how to assign a ledger group to an account. The chapter also describes the relationship between the Lawson® General Ledger application and the Multi-Book Ledger application.

You must set up the General Ledger application, including the companies, charts of account, accounting units, and accounts you want to use, before you can associate them with a Multi-Book Ledger application.
