Filtering journal entries

When performing maintenance activities, you can limit journal entries being displayed by specifying criteria. Use this procedure to filter the journal entries you want to view in Ledger Journal Control (ML45.1).

  1. AccessLedger Journal Control (ML45.1) .
  2. Click Filter to open Filter (ML45.3).Use any fields in this form to specify criteria for the journal entries you want to view.
  3. Specify this information:
    Status

    Specify the status of the journal entries that you want to view.

    System

    Specify or select the system code of the journal entry you want to view. A system code is a two-character code representing an application used within the Lawson system (i.e : GL = General Ledger, AP = Accounts Payable, etc.).

    Hold Code

    Specify or select the hold code of the journal entry you want to view. A hold code prevents posting.

    Posting Date

    Specify or select a posting date of the Journal Entry you want to view.

    Operator

    Specify the name of the person who created the journal entries you want to view.

    Release Operator

    Specify the name of the person who released the journal entries you want to view.

    Journal Book

    Specify or select the journal book of the journal entries you want to view.
