Type a code to identify the calculation.
- Custom Calculation

Select whether the calculation is for a custom calculation program.
You can use either an amount or a custom calculation. If you
use a custom calculation, leave the Amount field blank. If you want
a reference for a custom calculation, use the fields in the custom
calculation tab.
The fields in the Custom Calculation tab are for
reference only; they are not used
for any calculations.
- Amount

Type an amount to start the calculation.
This field is required, unless you use a custom calculation.
If you define a custom calculation, leave this field blank. If you
do not need an amount for this calculation, you can enter 1.0000 to
multiply the result of the fields below by 1.
- Multiply by Factor

Select a factor by which the start amount is multiplied. If
option 1 (Standard hours per pay period) is selected, the amount entered
in the Standard Hours field on Employee (HR11.1) will be used.
- Multiply by Service Class

Select a service class by which the starting amount is multiplied.
If the calculation is used for an hours table, the starting
amount will be multiplied by the service class hours.
If the calculation is used for an earnings table, the starting
amount will be multiplied by the service class earnings.
Service classes cannot be used on calculations that are used
on allotment tables, limit tables, or GL tables.
Note: Only hours for qualified positions are counted. Qualified
positions are held on Employee Absence Plan Master (LP31.1) or Employee Absence Plan Enrollment (LP32.1). If the enrollments do not
hold position information (for example, if you select 1 - Employee
Group in the Enrollment Type field on Absence Plan (LP01.1), all hours in the service
class for the employee will be counted.

Select a user number by which the starting amount is to be multiplied.
- Divide by Factor

Select a factor by which the start amount is divided. If option

Select a service class by which the starting amount is divided.
