What happens when I run absence plan close?

When you run Absence Plan Close (LP197), the application:

  • Updates Absence Plan Payout (LP130) and changes transactions processed by Employee Absence Plan Calculation (LP140) or Allotment Adjustment Calculation (LP145) to a closed status. When LP140 and LP145 are closed, transactions can no longer be recalculated or adjusted. Any adjustments would have to be done through Manual Transactions by Employee (LP70.1) or Manual Transaction Conversion (LP570).

  • Updates Employee Absence Plan Master (LP31.1) with new balances. Updated fields are logged to history if indicated on Data Item Attributes (HR10).

  • Updates the transaction summary file with transaction amounts being closed.

  • Provides an output report showing hours and earnings balances for employee plan master records that were updated.
