Creating a payout for a terminated employee

When an employee terminates you have the option to pay the remaining balance immediately.

To create a payout for a terminated employee

  1. Access Service Code (LP08.2) to create a service code for a terminated payout.
  2. Access Pay Code (PR20.4) to create a pay code for the terminated payout. Be sure to tie the pay code to the service code you created to the pay code.
  3. Access Absence Plan Payout (LP130) and attach the code.
  4. Process LP130 with the Time Record Date.
  5. Run the normal payroll cycle.
