Human Resources and Benefits contain purge and update processes that impact Absence Management. These include:

Company (HR00.1)

A company cannot be deleted if employees exist.

When a company is deleted, Absence Management setup tables are purged if no Employee Absence Plan Master (LP31.1) records exist.

Employee (HR11.1)

An employee cannot be deleted they have benefits (e.g. Vacation Buy/Sell Plan) or Absence Management plans on LP31.1.

When an employee is deleted, the following records in Absence Management tables (not connected to a specific Absence Management plan) are purged:

Leave of absence from Employee Leave of Absence (LP51.1)

Service and event history

Absence Management group changes from Employee Absence Plan Audit (LP35.1)

A plan can not be deleted if employee benefits exist (i.e., Vacation Buy/Sell Plan).

When a plan is deleted, Absence Management plan groups are also purged.

When a Vacation Buy/Sell employee benefit is purged, employee allocation records are also purged.
