Different ways to enroll employees into absence plans
You can enroll employees into absence plans three different ways:

You set up absence management so that employees are automatically enrolled.

You can enroll them with batch processing.

You can enroll them manually.
Automatic enrollment
New hires are automatically enrolled in Absence Management plans when you add them as new hires or new positions in the Human Resources application if:

You define the absence plan to automatically enroll employees on Absence Plan (LP01.1), and
-
The new employee or position meets the eligibility requirements of the group used by the plan
Batch enrollment
You can use batch processing to enroll a group of employees in a plan.
Manual enrollment
You can also enroll individual employees or positions in a plan or override plan parameters for an individual.
