Adding an allocation code

  1. Access Allocation Codes (LM28.1).
  2. Create an allocation code to define what percentage of the total expense is charged to a specific company or accounting unit.
    Allocation Code

    Select a code to represent an expense that you will assign to multiple company or accounting units.

    Position To

    Select a code to locate an allocation code that you will assign a value.

    Company

    Select the company to which allocation codes are assigned.

    Account and Activity

    You can select the accounting unit, account, subaccount, activity, and account category to which you will assign the allocation codes.

    Percentage

    Specify the percentage of the expense represented by this allocation code that is assigned to a company or accounting unit.

    Note: You can attach more than one non-lease component to a lease.
