Rent abatements

Rent abatements are payment periods where there is no payment required. They are also called rent holidays. Zero amount payments are created in the Payment Schedule to factor the straight-line calculation in periods. You can only create zero amount rent abatement payment schedule entries on operational leases. An invoice is created by Invoice Creation for the period to the deferred amount posted in General Ledger. The zero amount invoice is not interfaced to Accounts Payable.
