Attributes
An attribute is a user-defined or Lawson-defined field that you can assign a value to provide more information and more flexibility in reporting. Attributes can hold additional information specific to these fields:

An accounting unit or account (GL, IC, PO)

A cash code (CB)
 - 
           
A vendor (AP, MA, PO)
 - 
           
A customer (AR, OE, BL, WH)
 - 
           
A lease (LM)
 - 
           
An activity (AC, BR)
 - 
           
An item (IC, PO, OE, WH, WO)
 - 
           
A user analysis (SL)
 - 
           
A transaction (AC, GL, ML, or SL).
 
Attributes are used to group or categorize records for reporting, inquiry, or processing. Attributes are Lawson-defined or user-defined.

Lawson-defined attributes are pre-loaded into the system using Attribute, Element Load (MX100) and can be available for the Attribute field in Attribute (MX00.1):
