Attribute lists
An attribute list is a set of attributes and value ranges that are used to select a collection of accounting units or accounts, activities, assets, leases, or user analyses. Lists are used in reporting, processing, and other tasks.
Lists can be automatic or manual and can contain a combination of user-defined and Lawson-defined attributes.
-
To create an automatic list, select the attributes belonging to the object type of your choice and define value ranges for these attributes. Attribute Matrix automatically builds a list of members that meet the criteria specified in the list. The list is automatically updated any time you add a new member that meets the criteria.
After you convert an automatic list to a manual list, the manual list loses all connection with the attributes that are originally used to create it.
-
To create a manual list, you must first create an empty list without attributes, then select the Manual List button to define the leases that belong to the list. You can also convert an automatic list to a manual list, but you cannot convert a manual list to an automatic list.
