Interfacing leased assets

If an interfaced lease has a classification of Finance, then you must associate one or more assets to the lease in the Asset Management application.

Note: Before you can add a leased asset to a lease, the lease must exist in an Unreleased status in the Lease Management application, and you must know the lease classification so you can assign it to the asset.

You can add a leased asset in any of these ways:

Action Process
Manually add an asset to an interfaced lease Perform the tasks described in the Defining Leased Assets chapter in this guide. See Leased asset creation.
Add an interfaced asset to an interfaced lease Perform the tasks described in the interface chapter of the Asset Management User Guide, assigning a lease number to each asset.
